Hardcore Henry – 4/10

I am not going to count the poor acting nor the exposition that is basically spoon fed to you against the movie, because let’s be honest you’re going into this movie expecting for it to be this way. However, the movie feels as if you are watching fifteen minutes worth of a movie, then getting a few montages and video game cut scenes in between the movie. There is zero suspense due to the nature of the movie. The “groundbreaking” point of view camera is actually the movie’s demise from the character never being in real peril. If the character is going to die, then the movie is just over. There are 136 dreadful minutes to watch how the protagonist will escape these scenarios that the movie tries to tell you he won’t get out of. Also, the cuts in the movies to new scenes happen at the most ridiculous points, unnecessarily the movie cuts to a new point in the action. The antagonist is an all-powerful character that cannot be touched, until – well when the movie needs Henry to be able to. Absolutely no explanation as to why now Henry can compete with the antagonist. Now to the good parts of the extra-long You-Tube video. Jimmy. That is all.hard
